Home Expo 2026: our top picks for your home cinema
From 8 to 11 October 2026, we were at the Home Expo at The Box exhibition centre. In Hall 7 at Stand 7B40, visitors were able to experience how a cinema experience, high-quality seating comfort and well-designed room acoustics can be integrated into their own homes.
On display were our new Cinema Box, the San Marco Jazz Living Cinema seating suite with new accessories, and acoustic walls featuring invisibly integrated speakers. We look back on an exciting few days at the fair, with plenty of face-to-face conversations and enthusiastic feedback.
Our new Cinema Box: a cinema experience, elegantly concealed within a piece of furniture
The centrepiece of our exhibition stand was the upgraded Cinema Box. It combines a high-quality piece of designer furniture with a complete home cinema system – and demonstrates just how discreetly modern video and audio technology can be integrated into the living space.
At Home Expo, our visitors were able to experience the solution first-hand: a 110-inch, electrically retractable screen creates a genuine cinema experience and disappears completely back into the furniture after use. The integrated Hisense L9Q 4K laser TV delivers the big picture, whilst a speaker system developed specifically for the Cinema Box and a powerful Yamaha amplifier provide the perfect sound.
More compact dimensions, a new design and subtle details
For the new generation, we have reduced the depth of the Cinema Box from 78 to just 61 cm. With its dimensions of 2,760 × 570 × 610 mm (W × H × D), it can be integrated even more easily into a variety of interior designs – including as an elegant room divider.
The new design features a real oak veneer and a 4 cm-wide, bevelled frame running all the way round. A consistent wood grain, exceptionally narrow gaps and fabric-covered push-to-open flaps emphasise the high-quality craftsmanship.
The technology is also evident in the details: an electrically extendable centre pull-out mechanism reveals the projector for use. When retracted, the screen cover sits flush with the surface. This leaves you with an elegant piece of furniture after your film night, discreetly concealing its technology.
San Marco Jazz Living Cinema: Seating comfort to try out
Another highlight of our exhibition stand was the San Marco Jazz Living Cinema seating suite. The combination of high-quality leather, intricate quilting and comfortable features delighted numerous visitors.
The dual-motor electric reclining function invites you to find your favourite position. We also showcased practical accessories for relaxing film evenings:
- Centre table and storage compartment
- Glass holder
- Lighting
Fold-out table with wireless charging for smartphones
As visitors tried out the seats, it became clear that, alongside picture and sound, a cinema experience also includes a seat where you’re happy to stay a little longer.
Acoustic walls at the exhibition stand: designed to be visible, yet provide invisible sound insulation
The walls of our stand were also part of the presentation. Hidden behind the printed fabric panels was highly effective acoustic material. The setup was complemented by ultra-slim speakers, which were concealed behind the fabric to create an additional music zone.
This enabled us to demonstrate on the spot how interior design, acoustics and music reproduction can be combined – without any visible speakers.
Acoustic solutions for home cinemas, living spaces and more
These wall solutions offer a wide range of applications. As well as in home cinemas, they can also be used in living rooms, bars or nurseries to help reduce unwanted reverberation and create a more pleasant acoustic environment.
Custom-printed fabrics open up a wealth of design possibilities. High-quality, discreetly integrated sound absorption can be added on request.
