Ahead of its time?! Introducing the TRON Cinema!
This is a home cinema that we built around 10 years ago. Although the project was created so long ago, the cinema still shines with its timeless design. The Tron LED light panels on the sides are the eye-catcher of this cinema reference. The end result is a tasteful and timeless cinema concept, with atmospheric lighting scenes, which has been used by the customer several times a week since it was commissioned.
3D planning and visualisation
Ten years ago, we already created a 3D visualisation using Sketch Up and presented the home cinema to the customer before construction began.
The Tron Cinema offers space for 7 people, with 3 luxury cinema seats in the 1st row and 4 classic cinema seats in the 2nd row, placed on a platform. The technical rack with the cinema technology is also located on the platform. In addition to the Marantz pre-amplifier combination, this is also where the players such as the Oppo Blu-Ray player, satellite receiver and a gaming PC are located.
Even back then, we used an easy-to-operate system remote control from RTI to control the entire cinema and lighting technology. Various scenes are programmed on the remote control, so you can easily create different lighting scenes in the room. The front speakers are located behind the acoustically transparent screen and the surround and Atmos speakers are placed invisibly behind the black fabric panelling on the walls and ceiling.
The 7.4.4 Dolby Atmos system provided an immersive sound experience thanks to the calibration via the Marantz AV8802A. In terms of image technology, the cinema impresses with a 3.05 m wide screen, projected by a native 4K projector from Sony.
